Our History
The school was built on community land, generously donated by a women's group. They chose to donate their land for the construction of the school due to the absence of available space. The school possesses a government-issued title deed. Initially, classrooms were situated under Acacia trees. Subsequently, permanent classrooms were constructed in 2008, with further expansions occurring in 2017. The teachers' building was erected in 2021, alongside the addition of toilet blocks in the same year. Numerous buildings have been constructed and renovated since 2008.
The school receives government funding on a per-pupil basis annually. However, this funding presently falls short of meeting the school's day-to-day teaching and material needs, let alone accommodating capital investments. The school has previously received support from NGOs and well-wishers, particularly concerning the installation of a rainwater collection and storage system.
